• You hold a Ph.D. in autonomous systems, robotics, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
• You have a deep understanding of AI, automation and robotics technologies; ranging from robotics architectures, and perception systems to mobile and service robotics (including experience with ROS).
• You are experienced in coordinating research projects as well as in designing research proposals with consortium partners in industry and academia.
• Your strong network in the field of robotics and autonomous systems enables you to establish strong research collaborations with suitable project partners from academia and industry.
• You are passionate about exploring new paradigms in autonomous behavior, including AI-driven planning, reinforcement learning, behavior trees, and MAPE-K frameworks, as well as their impact on user acceptance.
• You are excited about contributing on a strategic and operational level in an agile research team.
• You enjoy regular and close exchanges with clients and research partners of XITASO.
• Your language skills enable you to conduct your role in English. Knowledge of German is desirable but not essential.
