Your day at NTT DATA

The Support Engineer (L1) ensures that IT infrastructure and systems remain operational by identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems, restoring service to clients by managing incidents to resolution.

What you'll be doing

• Level 1 Support focusing on Network and Security
• Monitoring the monitoring tools and opening tickets as needed
• Performing documented changes
• Documentation and reporting
• Developing and optimizing the overall solution in close coordination with the customer
• Providing end-user support
• Assisting in troubleshooting measures
• Technical coordination and creation of technical documentation and reports
• Participating in 3-shift operations and on-call duties

What you bring

• A successfully completed technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or a comparable technical qualification
• Professional experience in the areas of Network and Security
• Good knowledge of Cisco LAN/WLAN environments (at least CCNA level), and knowledge of ACI, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, and network management tools
• A structured approach combined with meticulous, precise, and results-oriented working methods, especially in problem analysis
• Strong customer and service orientation, good manners, and good communication and team skills
• Fluent German and good English skills in speaking and writing
