Senior Engineer Airframe Design (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

1. Managing complex tasks internally and externally; defining specific actions and means to fulfil the requirements.
2. Integrator tasks of complex aerostructures.
3. Planning the required activities and the necessary competencies and skills according to the defined deliverables.
4. Working as a team member within an airframe work package to ensure deliverables.
5. Ensuring structural integrity by optimizing airframe weight and performance, and proposing optimizations for weight reduction and cost-efficient design.
6. Defining test procedures and monitoring progress in line with the programme process to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
7. Driving opportunities for digitalization and automation of airframe analysis processes, methods, and tools.

Your qualifications:

1. Recognized expert in airframe design.
2. Degree in engineering (e.g., MA Eng/Sc, PhD) in materials, aerospace, or mechanical engineering.
3. >10 years of professional experience in airframe development and design.
4. Extensive knowledge of certification requirements, design criteria, materials, methods, and tools.
5. Experience in new aircraft development (CS25).
6. Ability to prioritize, manage, and multitask.
7. Experience in product development for multiple aircraft programmes.
8. Leadership and instruction experience in complex tasks.
9. Excellent presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
10. Proficiency in Catia V5, PLM 3D, and MS Office.
