About the Role

This incredible opportunity is focused on hiring, leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Account Executives selling HCM and Financial Management applications into Germany's SMB segment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead passionate, enthusiastic and successful sales specialists who want to be part of one of the most ground-breaking cloud companies on the planet.
  • Actively mentor, support, and lead a sales team around account coverage, territory management, demand generation and opportunity execution.
  • Orchestrate internal teams of pre-sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing and sales support to generate net new revenue into prospects.
  • Implement value-selling processes while building up knowledge of Workday’s products and portfolio.
  • Drive the Workday culture and cross-group teamwork.
About You
Key Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience leading high performing new business sales teams in the German mid-market.
  • Demonstrated ability in sales leadership and a successful track record on new logo acquisition, preferably experience in ERP or other enterprise business solutions or platform sales.
  • True passion for coaching and delivering results through others in a team selling environment.
  • Ability to identify sales strategies to continue to grow revenue across the financial and professional services industry in Germany.
  • Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with successful revenue attainment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
Other Qualifications
  • Proven as a self-starter, fast-learner, and agent of change.
  • Passion to act as a playing coach, working closely with delivering results through your team of Account Executives.
  • Proficiency across a variety of selling methodologies, with an existing track record of coaching or teaching these skills.
  • High level of accountability in a fast growing environment.
