You will be responsible for increasing sales and contribution margins, improving product quality, and enhancing customer satisfaction. Your role will include developing market strategies, innovative product ideas, and sales support. Job Description
  • Overall product responsibility: You will be responsible for the economic success of the assigned product portfolio (Brabender 3-phase system), increasing sales and maximizing contribution margins, improving product quality and profitability, increasing customer satisfaction, and ensuring technical reliability and superiority over the competition.
  • Market strategy and portfolio planning: Market observation, competitive analysis, and strategic planning of the product portfolio in coordination with the product line manager.
  • Innovation management and product development: Development of business cases, collaboration with the research and development department, definition of requirements for product improvements and new products, acceptance of series products from development projects.
  • Pricing strategy and sales support: Setting prices and value tiers, planning product launches, and supporting sales on business trips, participating in trade shows and conferences
  • Development and implementation of marketing materials: Developing sales, marketing, and customer documents such as brochures, presentations, and websites
  • Training and customer support: Conducting sales training, supporting key accounts, product presentations, application webinars
  • Coordination and knowledge transfer: Creating and coordinating e-learning courses for products, sharing knowledge with sales teams and external distribution partners in the form of training courses and webinars
  • Budget monitoring: Controlling sales budgets, planning the marketing budget
Qualifications
  • Training as a master baker or miller or
  • Completed degree in food technology, food science, or similar, supplemented by industrial engineering, business administration, marketing, or similar.
  • Food technology training background or prior knowledge in the field of flour/dough/baked goods analysis.
  • Several years of experience in product management, ideally in an international environment, is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of market observation and business development, ideally in the field of measuring instrument technology
  • Familiarity with research and development projects and ROI calculations
  • Very good communication and presentation skills and team orientation
  • Experience in working with strategically important customers
  • Willingness to travel worldwide for trade fairs and customer visits
  • Confident use of MS Office, Jira, and Confluence knowledge is an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
