The role is responsible for driving WFM projects and processes by coordinating, planning, and communicating training and testing prior to rollout. It reviews and consults on Europe retail store payroll budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling tools to improve operational efficiency and ensure adidas policies and Europe Retail Operations standards are implemented and enhanced where opportunities arise. The role focuses on optimizing PEX within stores across Europe retail by ensuring efficient processes and resource allocation within the store environment and budget to maximize business performance, while supporting franchise partners with appropriate guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive the implementation of Workforce Management (WFM) strategies and programs that stores will use to maximize operational efficiencies, schedule staff, and manage payroll.
- Deliver projects end-to-end by creating project management frameworks and manuals to ensure scope, tasks, deliverables, and milestones are managed diligently.
- Act as liaison between stores, Retail Operations and Finance to ensure consistency of program execution and engagement; establish and communicate goals to support understanding and stickiness.
- Consult stores on payroll expense by reviewing key tasks and collaborating with business partners to best leverage in-store resources for maximum productivity.
- Ensure strong partnership with fleet teams to optimize scheduling to meet PEX targets and drive PEX optimization through Workforce Optimization tools.
- Collaborate in the monthly review of store PEX with Finance and Store Management to identify opportunities and suggest improvements/processes.
- Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, or systems within the project scope; provide reporting and analytical support to measure task performance and escalate opportunities for improvement.
- Provide analysis, guidance, and direction on workload for stores to assist in workload planning; apply effective communication with project sponsors and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
- Oversee and lead WFM Ambassadors in the proper and consistent use of store scheduling tools to ensure the right person is in the right place at the right time.
- Implement scheduling processes, tools, and systems in stores to align retail professionals with business needs, including rollout of Workforce Optimization tools across Europe.
- Create and implement training on the correct use of Workforce Optimization Tools for Store Managers and District Managers.
- Develop best practices to establish standards and processes that address local requirements based on store size, format, and local legislation.
- Actively communicate program efficacy and provide suggested improvements with Retail Operations partners.
- Collaborate with Back of House Organization team to identify and refine process KPIs and best practices; lead the integration of improved Back of House processes into Labour Standards for Workforce Optimization.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- University degree with focus on Business Administration, Retail, Project Management or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of retail store operations experience
- Retail Store management experience
- Experience with Store Workload Planning & Workforce Management Systems is preferred
