Join our success story and lead the IT initiatives across Germany and Central Eastern Europe. We are looking for an IT Director (m/f/d) based in our head office in Hamburg.

Directly attached to the GER&CEE General Manager and active member of the Europe IT Team, you will be responsible for Germany, Austria, Poland, Czeck Republic and Slovakia. The IT Director (m/f/d) will act as a bridge between global strategy and local execution.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Implement and adapt the global and regional IT strategy to meet local business needs
  • Be the main interface and primary point of contact for all market related IT topics from Europe and the GER&CEE Management team
  • Act as a Business Partner and optimize IT infrastructure and applications across all divisions (Fashion, Fragrance & Beauty, Watches & Fine Jewelry) and corporate service departments
  • Foster and embed a local innovation-driven tech culture, develop and mentor employees and drive change management initiatives
  • Lead and develop the local IT team to ensure the highest level of service quality on POS (including new openings) and office level
  • Implement new tools and applications to enable local teams to work in excellent conditions and provide knowledge transfer to fully exploit features
  • Support BI Key User and interact with various stakeholders in Europe region and throughout local markets
  • Plan and manage the IT budget for GER&CEE, prioritize local demands and manage external partners
  • Contribute to cross-regional projects, collect local needs, provide market insights and expertise
  • Ensure compliance with data protection rules and manage cybersecurity risks

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Successfully completed university degree, ideally a master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Relevant work expertise in IT management in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of success
  • Broad knowledge of IT landscape and systems including ERP systems (D365), BI, EDIFACT, O365 and cloud-based technologies
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
