Overview

For our MID group we are looking for a candidate to participate in operational tasks and contribute to instrumentation, development and research activities, data analysis and publication of scientific results.

Responsibilities
  • Participation in operational tasks like user support and commissioning at the instrument
  • Local contact for users and shift work duties at the instrument
  • Instrumentation, development, and research activities
  • Data analysis and publication of scientific results
Qualifications
  • PhD degree in physics or related science field
  • Research background in condensed matter science and X-ray diffraction
  • Experience with hard X-ray FEL science and experiments is an asset
  • Experience with ultrafast optical lasers and X-ray instrumentation is an asset
