Demand Planner (d / f / m) Supply Chain – Essity is a leading global hygiene and healthcare company. For our Supply Chain department in Mannheim we are looking for a Demand Planner (d / f / m) to support our team as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Optimize forecast accuracy for assigned products, markets, customers to positively impact service, capital and cost
  • Actively drive continuous development and best practice sharing and use advanced analytics tools to understand forecast development
  • Master and improve statistical forecasting and enrich forecast in close collaboration with assigned markets or brand counterparts
  • Participate in the S&OP process, prepare required information for the assigned products, markets, customers and be able to present
  • Own demand planning coordination and related activities cross-functionally, foster an open communication and act according company vision and values
  • Monitor demand trends and reconcile these with supply outlook considering diverse bottlenecks across the value chain

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineer, Logistics or related with focus on supply chain or degree in a commercial education with several years of relevant experience
  • Min. 5 years of relevant experience in an adequate position
  • Excellent IT (for example SAP APO / SAP R3 / SAP 4HANA) and analytical skills, solid MS Office Knowledge, enhanced skills in MS Excel
  • Excellent conceptional and analytical skills with an affinity to statistical methods
  • Very good communication skills, presentation skills and strong ability to react flexible on different workload in an international environment
  • Fluent in German and English, any other language is a plus
