Business Development Manager DACH Region (Remote) – Remote

Our client specializes in developing innovative own-branded products for industrial settings. Role Description

For their German subsidiary, our client offers a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager who will identify and pursue new business opportunities in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. The Business Development Manager will work with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement business strategies, and with R&D and Product Managers to implement technologies, develop complete solutions or product features to satisfy business and project needs. The main responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying new markets and opportunities, and directing and coordinating marketing activities in the region.

Your responsibilities
  • Planning and executing region’s business development strategy for the complete product line
  • Developing new business opportunities in sales and after-sales areas
  • Advising existing and new potential customers in the areas of industrial communication solutions
  • Identifying new clients based on business needs and offering solutions that meet those needs
  • Actively obtaining new leads, business opportunities and projects in the region
  • Providing daily support and building close relations with existing regional sales channels
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness in the region
  • Planning, managing, and supporting marketing activities in the region, representing the company at marketing events
  • Resolving customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relations
  • Working closely with Sales and Product Managers to build solutions and offers satisfying business and project needs
  • Analyzing market conditions, trends, competitors, and pricing structures to create opportunities for increasing market share
  • Conducting research for new technologies or potential products to identify opportunities for growth
  • Coordinating with PM and R&D Teams to create solutions or product features, and recommending improvements or customization
  • Working remotely and traveling
Required Qualifications
  • Native-level proficiency in German language
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a technical field (engineering, networks, communication, automation)
  • Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field
  • Basic knowledge of business and sales growth techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Independence in action and strong planning skills
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Professional, proactive, committed and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to work in a remote environment and with remote international teams
  • Fast learning
