Hanson Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team supporting our client on the Xbox Experiences & Platforms (XP) team! In this role, you will focus on maintaining, enhancing, and supporting API services. Responsibilities include managing KTLO (Keep the Lights On) and engineering excellence (EE) initiatives, addressing technical debt, and ensuring the stability and performance of backend services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with C#/.NET frameworks and thrive in a dynamic environment where they will be updating and optimizing backend code, as well as maintaining unit tests.

The individual in this role must be a citizen ofCosta Ricaand willing to workPacific Time hoursand participate in the team'son-call rotation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform ongoing maintenance (KTLO) and address engineering excellence (EE) issues for backend services, with a focus on package ingestion services.
• Update, optimize, and refactor backend services code written in C# using .NET Core and .NET Framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
• Write, update, and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure the quality and reliability of backend services.
• Provide on-call support for backend services, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Work closely with DevOps to ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience withC#programming language, with an emphasis on building and maintaining backend services.
• Expertise in.NET Coreand.NET Frameworkservice development.
• Proficient in usingGitfor version control and collaboration.
