The impact you will have:

The AWS Pre-Sales Supervisor will act as a player and coach for our Scale Pre-sales specialists under the AWS category team within our Cloud business unit plays a critical role in hiring, onboarding and managing an AWS pre-sales team. These sales teams will have a direct impact on growing Softchoice’s customer base and deepening those relationships through services attached. The pre-sales specialists will act as the technical expertise supporting the AWS sales teams with completing these responsibilities. Alongside supporting your team you will be responsible for your own customers and territory.

What you’ll do:
  • Report to and collaborate with the Softchoice AWS Sr Manager to ensure this pre-sales team becomes a driver for new customer acquisition and services demand generation.

  • Manage a team of dedicated AWS Pre-Sales Specialists who will actively pursue onboarding new AWS customers and creating value through selling Softchoice AWS services.

  • Act as a player/coach driving business in your own territory alongside your pre-sale’s reports.

  • Build strategic relationships with your AWS counterparts supporting their territory and account managers.

  • Provide ongoing enablement to support sales with AWS GTM (Go to Market) strategies & opportunity generation.

  • Help develop and manage the sales management process that activates a group of direct report AWS pre-sales to achieve growth targets set through the AWS agency funding investment.

  • Ensuring pipeline health and pipeline conversion is achieved.

  • Ensure that Salesforce.com's & APN hygiene and processes are followed.

  • Forecast reporting, pipeline review and regular communications provided on the status and progress of the team.

  • Act as a mentor and coach of the team that reports to this people leader position.

  • Conduct annual performance reviews and participate in merit process.

  • Ensure that all team members have an actively managed career development plan.

Goals:
  • Activate/onboard/manage new team members.

  • Activate sales management process and refine where necessary.

  • Hit strategic objectives (IE: new customers, services wins, consumption growth)

  • Level up the team with coaching and training both at a group level and individually

What you’ll bring to the table:
  • 5+ years’ experience in selling cloud, software or technology related solutions.

  • AWS certifications (AWS Practitioner Required in role)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in presenting to large groups of people

  • Ability to build and execute a prospecting strategy

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for technical products and services

  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce.com preferred)

  • Experience in sales operations and/or marketing automation software preferred

  • Understanding cloud professional services is required

  • Passionate about technology and learning more about Softchoice capabilities
