As a Senior Full‑stack Engineer at Farther, you’ll design and build the backend services and APIs that power our wealth management platform. Working with TypeScript, Bun, and CockroachDB, you’ll create scalable, reliable systems that handle everything from financial transactions to portfolio management.
You’ll join our engineering team working on core product features and roadmap delivery, with a focus on backend systems while remaining capable across the full stack. We’re hiring as part of an exciting initiative: we’re creating a Forward Deployed Engineering team where our top engineers rotate to work directly with advisors on urgent challenges. As senior engineers rotate onto that team, you’ll help maintain momentum on critical backend work. Once you’ve ramped up (typically 3–6 months), you may have the opportunity to rotate onto the Forward Deployed team yourself.
