Position Overview

Working as a student at Tilbury Manor is more than just a job—it’s about connection, community, and compassion. You’ll work closely with our team and residents, gaining valuable skills and making a positive impact.

Depending on your interests and availability, you may:

• Review of employee files to ensure all required documents are present
• Assist the Nursing Administrative Assistant with day to day tasks like: filing, scheduling, filling shifts and other administrative duties
• Be a friendly, familiar face that brightens someone’s day

• Real-life experience in healthcare
• Confidence, communication, and teamwork skills
• New friendships with team members, and other volunteers
• A chance to explore what you're passionate about—while making a difference

• Attend an interview to determine eligibility
• A 2-Step TB Test within the last 6 months
• Students over age 18 will need a Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Students under 18 years old will require an original letter from the Principle/Teacher/Guidance Counsellor
• Must submit at least two references
• Sign homes Code of Conduct
