Telecom HS&E Advisor — Lead Safety & Compliance
Job summary
A leading telecommunications firm in Belleville, ON is seeking an experienced HS&E Advisor to enhance safety practices in their projects. You will conduct inspections, provide guidance on health and safety issues, and support operational teams in improving HS&E initiatives. Ideal candidates will have a background in construction or telecommunications safety with at least 3 years of relevant experience and possess a certificate or diploma in occupational health and safety. The role offers competitive compensation within a dynamic team environment.

- 3+ years of related work experience in construction or telecommunications safety role.
- Demonstrated experience in program development, safety training, and incident investigation.
- Strong computer competency including experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of work area and discuss potential problems with supervisors.
- Provide field supervisors with advice on HS&E issues and conduct site safety orientations.
- Assist in incident investigations and develop corrective actions.
