As a Security Officer - Utilities Patrol in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a tech, media, and telecom environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic settings and are committed to putting people first while addressing security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $18.03 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the tech, media, and telecom location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
• Support emergency response activities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
