To respond to the priorities of the Government of Ontario through the passage of the Bill 5, Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act 2025, the resource may be partially assigned to Bill 5 related projects or initiatives on an as needed basis.
This Ceres application was launched in February 2023 for ministry users, to improve management of plant health data and enable timely access to critical information (present and historical), as well as efficient identification of pest threats. The requirement is to make sure that the CERES application is continuously available, while also enabling implementation of bug fixes, issue resolution or minor improvements, based on user feedback.
We are looking for a senior full stack software developer who will be responsible for providing maintenance and support for the Ceres application. The Ceres application is built using MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) technology stack and hosted on Azure OPS tenant. The work activities for Ceres Maintenance and Support will entail:
