A leading plumbing services provider in Winnipeg is seeking a plumbing installer to join their team. Responsibilities include installing and repairing plumbing systems for domestic, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and experience in plumbing installation is an asset. This is a full-time position with compensation at $34.75 per hour, requiring strong skills in reading blueprints and plumbing fixtures. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, or possess a valid work permit.
Qualifications
- Experience as a plumbing installer is an asset.
- Fluency in English is required.
Responsabilités
- Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Repair plumbing fixtures and systems in various settings.
- Read blueprints and specifications for plumbing layout.
- Locate and mark positions for piping installations.
- Cut openings to accommodate pipes.
- Join pipes using various techniques and equipment.
- Test pipes for leaks using pressure gauges.
- Determine pipe sizing requirements.
- Estimate costs and materials needed.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes.
