As a Tool Service Technician (Service Tech I), you will perform manual and maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs of specialty tools in a safe and professional manner. What You’ll Do
  • Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use
  • Report machine condition to Management
  • Load and unload equipment while complying with DOT regulations for height, width and weight
  • Clean all tools and prepare new equipment for rent or sale
  • Demonstrate tools for customers
  • Perform minor repairs of rental equipment and tools including electrical, calibration, certification, and tagging of tools for rental ready status
  • Demonstrate equipment for customers
  • Provide assistance to higher level technicians as needed
  • Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
  • Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Basic understanding of electrical testing equipment
  • Good mechanical aptitude including basic knowledge of tools
  • Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
