A leading aerospace company in Dorval is seeking a Senior Aircraft Level Systems Engineering Professional to lead the development of system-level conceptual design and sizing tools. The role requires 7+ years of experience in aircraft or complex-system development, with strong skills in systems engineering, programming, and model-based systems engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating advanced methodologies and improving architectural excellence within a collaborative team. Competitive salary and a hybrid work environment are offered.
When applicable, Bombardier promotes flexible and hybrid work policies.
At Bombardier, we design, build and maintain the world’s peak‑performing aircraft for the world’s most discerning people and businesses, governments and militaries. By prioritizing employee growth and development, we empower everyone to reach their full potential on their own terms, because the best work happens when you are free to be yourself and share your unique expertise.
With our employees’ well‑being top of mind, we offer a comprehensive and competitive Benefits Program, which includes the following:
As an aircraft‑level systems engineering professional within the Product Integration ( aircraft architecture) team, you will play a lead role in developing and governing the company’s system‑level conceptual design and sizing tools. You will be responsible for advancing the methods, models, and analytical frameworks that support early‑phase system sizing, parametric trade studies, and multidisciplinary analysis and optimization (MDAO), working in close collaboration with the aircraft configuration design team.
In parallel, you will contribute to the development and deployment of the company’s Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices. You will help define model‑based methods and workflows that ensure conceptual sizing models, architecture definitions, assumptions, and early‑phase analyses are captured consistently and traceably within MBSE frameworks.
You will also lead Research & Technology initiatives to evaluate and integrate emerging conceptual design methodologies, enhance architecture exploration capabilities, and pilot advanced toolchains that combine MBSE and MDAO. Your leadership will directly influence how future aircraft architectures are sized, analyzed, and matured from early trades through program launch.
Please note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed to apply for this position. We’re not looking for the perfect candidate, we’re looking for great talent and passionate individuals.
Bombardier is an equal opportunity employer and encourages persons of any race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, immigration status, disability or other applicable legally protected characteristics to apply.
