Boralex has been providing renewable and affordable energy for over 30 years. The Group, composed of more than 800 employees, operates renewable assets with an installed capacity of over 3 GW and is developing a project portfolio of 6.8 GW in wind, solar, and energy storage.
You are known for your team spirit, efficiency and operations management knowledge of hydropower projects and asset management. You are passionate about your job and enjoy working in a dynamic and multidisciplinary work environment. You are interested in putting your leadership skills forward to help manage a diverse site portfolio. You want to join a dedicated team of experienced professionals in the renewable energy field.
You, alongside the asset management team will be responsible for the short and long-term asset management strategies of a portfolio of Hydropower Projects in North America with a current presence in Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia, and New York State. You will lead and execute asset management optimization, performance monitoring strategies, stakeholder negotiations and manage key relationships. You will immediately work with skilled and seasoned resources to ensure sites run safely, efficiently, and compliantly.
Travel is required for this position, as you will have to visit sites, attend stakeholder meetings, team meetings, or negotiations as assigned (up to 25% of the time on average) domestically and internationally.
