A community service provider in Northwestern Ontario seeks a Program Coordinator for Junior Inclusion Services. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating inclusive recreation programs for children and youth with disabilities. The successful candidate will supervise staff, develop training, and promote inclusion within the community. A secondary school graduation and relevant experience in community recreation programming are required. Availability for irregular hours and weekends is also needed.
Under the supervision of the Program Supervisor Children, Youth & Junior Inclusion Services, the holder is responsible for planning, implementing and continuously evaluating the Junior Inclusion Services program, ensuring that inclusive activities for children and youth with disabilities (ages 3 to 18) are provided. The role also supports staff and participants of Recreation & Culture programs in the inclusion of children and youth with disabilities.
