Qualifications

• Two years of experience in ice-making and refrigeration systems.
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
• Physical ability to perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance work according to facility activities.
• Ensure building security and perform custodial functions.
• Assist in pool maintenance and water chemistry.

Skills

Knowledge of materials and practices used in pool and arena operations

Ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs

Team player with knowledge of safety precautions

Education

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

Level I and Level II Pool Operator’s Certificates

Ice Facility Operator Certificate or equivalent
