Position: Talk Show Producer, Morning show, AM800 CKLW
Location: 1640 Ouellette ave, Windsor
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 37.5 Hours/Week

• Working closely with host and program director to establish clear direction of daily content
• Identify the stories that matter most to Windsor-Essex and find a way to advance the story and/or approach it with a unique perspective
• Researching segment topics and provide the show host with all show prep material required
• Booking the best guests who can inform and entertain the audience
• Establishing relationships with media contacts related to the program (political, entertainment, etc.)
• Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of news and social issues that relate to our audience
• Ensure all show content is available on all available audio and social platforms
• Working with host to record other production that is required
• The selected candidate must be able to quickly switch priorities, multi-task, and get along with others
• Operate the board during live morning show weekdays
• Other duties as assigned

• Post secondary degree/diploma from a recognized Broadcast Program or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Demonstrated creativity skills in engaging users
• Must be organized and able to handle multiple assignments
• Excellent interpersonal skills and has a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
• Strong computer skills and internet proficiency
• Highly motivated and with the ability to meet high production standards and tight deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast paced, customer focused environment

Work Arrangement: Full-time in office (meaning that you will be required to perform your work on-site)
