Job summary

A leading technology company located in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a Connected Services Systems and Validation Engineer to oversee vehicle-level validation of connected services features. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and relevant vehicle level validation experience. Responsibilities include supporting the validation process, documenting issues, and ensuring vehicle fleet integrity. This hybrid position offers a pay-range of CAD$40.00 to CAD$45.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited program.
  • Vehicle level validation experience required.
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written and oral) are essential.

Responsibilities

Job Title-Connected Services Systems and Validation Engineer

Duration: Jan 2026 - Jan 2027 | Location: Windsor, ON (Hybrid) | Pay-range: CAD$40.00 to CAD$45.00 per hour

Job description
  • Our client is revolutionizing the vehicle ownership experience through the invention of software products delivered to Uconnect customers through a variety of digital touchpoints including mobile apps, websites, and in-vehicle infotainment systems.
  • The team is seeking candidates that will be responsible for Infotainment, Connected Services, Vehicle Access, Start, & Security voice of the customer (VoC) vehicle-level validation and vehicle level DVP&R development and execution. The Performance Test Engineer will support the vehicle integration and validation process by owning the E2E validation of connected services features as well as Customer Functional Objective (CFO) testing.
  • The Performance Test Engineer will work with Performance Platform Engineers to issue the appropriate documentation for issue resolution including supporting the team where the issue crosses multiple vehicle disciplines.
  • The Performance Test Engineer will support the vehicle integration team through ensuring the vehicle fleet has up-to-date software and hardware and have the ability to collect necessary data from vehicles when required. They will also provide mule vehicle support and mule issue resolution support.
Requirements
