Overview
StoreForce is a leading SaaS B2B operations platform for the retail industry. We are looking for a .NET Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless data integration between StoreForce and our customers' systems and data providers, helping us advance our technology.
The .NET Engineer will work on integrating new and existing clients into our platform and enhancing current features. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, communicates effectively, and adapts well in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements.
This is a full-time, permanent role reporting to our Development Manager.
Responsibilities
- Client Integration Support
- Consult with clients to scope and define data integration projects.
- Design technical solutions for system-to-system data exchange (e.g., API, file transfer).
- Create clear technical specifications and integration guides for clients and developers.
Development & Configuration- Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using .NET technologies to expose our system's data and functionalities.
- Integrate with third-party and client REST APIs, managing authentication (OAuth 2.0, API Keys), pagination, rate limiting, and errors.
- Create and manage workflows for processing flat files from clients and partners, including parsing, validation, transformation, and loading data.
- Leverage Azure Functions for event-driven, serverless integration tasks such as processing queued messages and scheduled jobs.
- Implement testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, to ensure reliability.
- Implement logging, metrics, and tracing for monitoring and troubleshooting integrations.
L2 Support & Incident Management- Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly.
- Monitor API changes from data providers and update integrations accordingly.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement- Maintain detailed documentation for integrations, APIs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Experience / Knowledge
Technical Skills :
- Experience with Azure Functions or similar cloud-based functions.
- Proficiency with APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration tools.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Understanding of flat-file data structures (CSV, JSON, XML).
- Ability to develop Azure Functions.
Soft Skills :
