What you'll do:

• Collaborate with pharmacist in product release with the pharmacist reviewing the prescription and patient record.
• Conduct product verification (quickly and accurately) on all compliance packs and vials prepared to ensure accuracy and completeness of all prescription orders prior to delivery
• Use the Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machine (VBM) and Parata MAX Software to verify weekly compliance packs as well as vials for SDM stores
• Prepare compliance packs and vials for delivery
• Work with Pharmacy Assistant for accurate dispensing
• Ensure proper storage, handling, disposal of drugs and return to stock procedure in accordance with SOPs
  
  

What you bring:

• Licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT), in good standing
• Liability insurance to legally practice as a RPhT
• A minimum of 1 year of continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital, or Retail)
• Experience with high volume filling environments is preferred
• Experience working with Vandenbrink Blister Packaging Machine (VBM) and Parata MAX is an asset
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail
• Complete work with minimal supervision
• Teammate and Leadership skills
