Job Description

Your technical expertise will drive the success of our field service operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and loyalty.

You will report directly to our Sr Field Service Supervisor and you'll work out of our St-John's location.

In this role, you will impact the overall performance of the field service team, ensuring that customer needs are met promptly and effectively while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • As part of the Field Service team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze field service performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on building automation equipment
  • Perform system upgrades and modifications as required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions
  • Provide training and support to customers on the operation of building automation systems
  • This role may require travel up to 10% across Newfoundland.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in building automation or controls field service or in a similar role.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
WE VALUE
  • Post-Secondary education in HVAC, Controls, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Honeywell building automation systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to building automation.
  • Certifications in building automation systems (e.g., Niagara, Tridium).
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of relevant technologies.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Ability to drive change and innovation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
