Manufacturing Technician – Vancouver HQ, Full-time, Entry-level
Your Role
As a Manufacturing Technician, you'll help build ultrasound scanners for medical professionals. You’ll work with your hands, using small tools, microscopes, and delicate instruments. The role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to balance routine tasks with more complex assembly.
Your Responsibilities Include
- Assemble components of ultrasound scanners and transducers
- Inspect parts according to engineering specifications
- Stay up to date with training
- Adhere to ISO standards, SOPs, and maintain proper labeling and segregation of materials
- Understand and work within the Quality System
- Adhere to production schedules and report material shortages
- Maintain a clean work area and properly shut down equipment after use
Your Experience So Far
- 1-2 years of experience in assembly work, particularly with small components
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Soldering experience is highly desirable, as you’ll be performing this task regularly
- Familiarity with microscopes and precision tools is necessary
- Excellent manual dexterity, with strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to read assembly drawings, procedures, and part lists
- Experience working in ISO-accredited facilities
- A team player, ready to pitch in wherever needed
Location and Compensation
This role is 100% on-site in Vancouver, BC. Candidates must be within a commutable distance. You can expect to earn up to $56,400 and receive a comprehensive benefits package from day one.
