Occupational Health Nurse-Jobs in Kanada

We are currently recruiting for few personal support workers to assist our female employer with end stage COPD lung disease with activities of daily living.

Our employer enjoys puzzles, books, art & crafts.

Start Date:

• June 15, 2025

Location:

• Qualicum Beach Train Station

Shifts & Hours of Work:

• Tuesday to Sunday: 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
• Client flexible on start time and weekday off

Compensation:

• $24 per hour during probationary period
• $25 after probationary

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

• Assist with full shower or sponge bath
• Laundry and light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Assist client with different medications during shower as client can run out of breath quickly

Required Qualifications:

• A non-smoker
• Comfortable working in an environment with a small dog
• Fully vaccinated against Covid with boosters
• Up to date with annual flu shot
• Training around showering for a person with COPD lung disease

Individuals with disabilities can be more susceptible to the severe symptoms of COVID-19. Candidates may be required to provide their proof of vaccination.
