A leading healthcare facility in Canada is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide quality care in the Women & Child / Surgical Unit. The role involves collaborating with the care team and ensuring patient safety while adhering to high professional standards. Ideal candidates will have relevant nursing experience, including Caseroom and post-partum, and the necessary certifications. This position offers a competitive hourly wage from $39.07 to $56.00.

Position Summary :
Under the supervision of the Department Manager, coordination of the Team Lead, and working as a member of the unit team, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of quality nursing care to a patient or group of patients. The provision of such nursing care is expected to be within the Standards of Nursing Practice (CNO) and the standards of the nursing unit.
The Registered Nurse is expected to maintain competence and skills through on-going participation in continuing education and will be able to demonstrate proof of such participation. The Registered Nurse actively participates in CNO Quality Assurance Program.
Participates in service and hospital-wide activities and programs that model and promote a safe and healthy patient-centered environment and that contribute to quality improvement and risk.
The RN provides nursing care in accordance with professional standards and unit guidelines, collaborates with the care team, and contributes to patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
