Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

This position is for our Extendicare Kingston Home, located in Kingston, Ontario.

Available opportunities include: Part Time.

Extendicare is pleased to partner with HealthForceOntario (HFO) as an approved employer for the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) which provides a $25,000 retention bonus to eligible nurses in exchange for a 24-month, full-time commitment.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Develop, implement, review and evaluate resident care plans
2. Provide leadership to personal care staff by planning, directing, supervising and evaluating their work
3. Assist in orienting and training new team members

What You Bring

1. Current registration with provincial College of Nurses
2. Compassion, professionalism, and respect
3. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
