A precious metals company located in Timmins, Ontario, seeks a Project Cost Accountant to manage project financials and ensure alignment between budgets and performance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, over 5 years of relevant experience, and strong proficiency in Microsoft financial tools. This role promises a balanced work-life environment with competitive compensation.
Qualificações
- Minimum 5+ years of project accounting experience in mining, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
- CPA designation (or progress toward completion) considered a strong asset.
Responsabilidades
- Monitor and control project costs, budgets, and forecasts for multiple projects.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and payment approvals.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting on project expenditures.
- Support project managers with budget tracking and financial analysis.
- Reconcile cost data between project controls and financial systems.
