Our client is currently looking for a Product Engineer (Full Stack) for a fast-growing start-up specializing in digital biology.

The role involves actively contributing to the development of the platform, integrating laboratory operations and research data management. We're looking for an engineer who is passionate about solving complex challenges, collaborative, and able to influence the product vision.

This high-impact position allows you to work directly with the founders and teams to shape the future of the platform, in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Product Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer pain points, propose innovative solutions, and shape the product roadmap.
• Own Features from Start to Finish: Design, develop, test, and deploy intuitive, scalable solutions across the stack, using technologies like React, Next.js, Tailwind, Node.js, Python, and Java.
• Build and Optimize Infrastructure: Enhance our infrastructure with services like Lambda, EC2, ElasticSearch, Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with design, product, and customer teams to align development with business goals and user needs.
• Lead by Example: Mentor team members, share knowledge, and promote a positive, solutions-oriented culture.
• Improve Development Processes: Refine CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub to enhance team productivity and delivery.

Skills and qualifications:

• 3+ Years of Full Stack Experience: Expertise with modern frameworks like Next.js, Tailwind, Node.js, and building responsive web applications.
• Strong Infrastructure Skills: Proficiency with AWS (Lambda, EC2), ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborative Communicator: You thrive in a cross-functional environment and are comfortable discussing technical trade-offs, product goals, and business outcomes.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with additional languages like Python.
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• A background or interest in the life sciences domain.
