We are seeking a Technology Support Specialist to join our Winnipeg Office!

As part of our IT Team, you will provide on-site technical support for staff on software applications and hardware.

Your daily responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support for software and hardware (printers, smartphones, monitors, terminals, etc.).
• Managing support calls: opening, monitoring, escalating, resolving, and following up promptly.
• Offering troubleshooting assistance and staff training on hardware and software issues.
• Maintaining knowledge of critical software applications and firm-owned software.
• Updating the support database and generating reports as needed.
• Communicating effectively with IT team members.
• Escalating complex issues and following up accordingly.
• Contributing to the development of support standards, policies, and procedures, and testing new software.
• Using remote access tools to assist staff remotely.
• Remaining accessible via a company smartphone during working hours.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate has:

• At least two years of IT experience.
• A college certificate in PC support or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a team player.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 2019 or Office 365.
• Proficiency in Windows 10 and 11.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise good judgment, and work under pressure.
• Availability during normal working hours, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
