Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years manufacturing supervisory experience preferably in a unionized facility.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Pro-active demonstrated safety management experience and training a definite asset.
• Formal technical or business education is an asset.
• Previous experience in decentralized maintenance, TPM, or Overall Equipment Efficiency an asset.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, Kaizen, and familiarity with Lean manufacturing an asset.
• Solid PC skills required, including knowledge of Work and Excel.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, team building, conflict resolution, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Considerable initiative with proven management and leadership skills.
• Proficient in multi-tasking a number of projects.
