Job summary
A leading Canadian culinary services company seeks a Second Cook for a remote camp in Nunavut. Responsibilities include preparing menu items, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting the First Cook. Ideal candidates have large-scale cooking experience, Food Safe certification, and can commit to an extended rotation. Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale cooking in camp settings, banquet halls or hotels is an asset.
- Ability to commit to a 4-week on/2 week off rotation.
- Must have valid government issued photo ID for travel.
Responsibilities
- Meet daily with the First Cook to discuss menu preparation.
- Assist in the preparation of all menu items as needed.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
