We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our client's growing team. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting. The successful candidate will begin with transactional tasks and gradually take on more responsibility, including managing the full accounting cycle for a business entity.

• Assist with full-cycle accounting and invoice preparation.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, bank and trust account reconciliations, and bi-weekly cash flow updates.
• Support quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and audit preparation.
• Process periodic GST returns and EFT mortgage payments.
• Perform transactional tasks such as invoice coding during the onboarding period.

• 1+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or bookkeeping.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage 50).
• Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with EFT and GST processes.

• Experience or interest in the financial services industry.
• Curious, eager to learn, and open to taking on new challenges.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and adaptable personality.
• Comfortable working in a quiet, focused team environment.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in VANCOUVER,BC.
