Job summary
An automotive service company in Ontario is seeking a full-time Vehicle Service technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Provincial Certificate of Qualification, experience in automotive repair, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Key responsibilities include vehicle diagnostics, tire repairs, and safety inspections. This role offers a chance to grow in a successful automotive environment with numerous development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid and current Certificate of Qualification in Ontario.
- Experience with both import and domestic vehicles.
- Valid driver's license and own tools/equipment required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems.
- Perform tire repairs and replacements.
- Inspect brakes, heating, air conditioning, and exhaust systems.
- Execute visual safety inspections.

Vehicle Service (Full Time) • Midas NEWMARKET 9827
At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience. You hold a valid and current Certificate of Qualification in the province of Ontario.
We are looking for automotive technicians that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create an environment of success!
- Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems
- Tires and tire repair
- Car heating and air conditioning
- Steering and suspension
- Belts and hoses
- Radiator and engine cooling systems
- Batteries, starting and charging
- Brake repair
- Mufflers and exhaust services
- Visual safety and courtesy inspections
- Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
- Track record of high personal productivity
- Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
- Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and diagnostic tools
- Provincial Certificate of Qualification
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)
- Able to service both import and domestic vehicles
