This is an excellent role on a “home based” contract for those of you looking for plenty of autonomy. Based in or around the Kent area, you will be managing an existing portfolio of loyal commercial / corporate clients with a primary objective to develop and nurture those relationships.

Our client is a well-regarded and unique independent brokerage, known for their professional approach and with a big emphasis on providing an exceptional level of service. They are very community oriented and committed to running an ethical business supportive of many charitable organisations.

In this role, you will be managing your client portfolio, which is made up of a wide variety of commercial and corporate risks including some complex local authority business. There will be regular client communications which can be achieved both face to face and via video conferencing. Using Acturis, you will be keeping the system up to date with accurate client information, speaking to insurers regularly with respect to new cover requests, making amendments, marketing and negotiating renewals, and generally acting as an all-round risk management advisor.

Ideal applicants will either be experienced brokers / account handlers who would like a role with face to face client meetings or a commercial account executive looking for a service oriented opportunity. It is essential that you have a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance and share in our client’s ethos of providing a high level of service.

Progress towards ACII qualification would be beneficial and will be fully supported. Previous use of the Acturis system would be a bonus (full system training can be provided).
