A leading manufacturing business in Eastern Ontario is seeking an Apprentice for their food packaging plant in Cornwall. The role involves starting and adjusting converting lines, assisting in quality control, and maintaining safety standards. The position is full-time on the night shift, with a starting hourly rate of $29.30 plus a night shift premium. Includes benefits like dental and medical insurance after three months of service. A new employee will start on the night shift, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., on a continental schedule (alternating between 36 and 48 hours per week).
The starting hourly rate is $29.30, plus anight shift premium of $1.50.
Wage increases are offered after 6 months.

The Apprentice will perform the following tasks while adhering to safety standards and Hood Packaging’s quality and food safety policies:
- Start, adjust, and optimize the converting lines according to production specifications.
- Assist in quality control using measurement tools and verification tests.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent any non‑compliance affecting product quality.
- Perform any other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and well‑organized.
- Strictly follow workplace health and safety rules.
