AspenTech is seeking a Software Developer to join our Technology group. You will help build the next generation of market-leading process simulation products for Chemical & Energy companies, incorporating AI and Industry 4.0 technologies. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Management, Product Designers, and Technologists to design and develop new software features.

• Design, develop, maintain, and support new and existing software applications.
• Contribute to technical and functional design sessions.
• Provide innovative solutions to technology challenges.
• Maintain and enhance the existing codebase.
• Support product management, marketing, services, and customer support with technical expertise.
• Explore emerging technologies in industry and academia to leverage them in our software applications.

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years of experience with C++, C#, WPF, and WinForms.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Experience with software tools for process simulation.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
