A global technology leader is seeking a Sales Manager to develop and execute a sales strategy in the Chemical market. You will work remotely and build relationships with key customers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in direct sales and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Compensation ranges from $98,700 to $157,920 annually, plus bonuses.

This Position reports to: Sales Manager, East Region
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop an effective sales strategy and lead the assigned area marketing and sales activities - products and services - within the defined industry segment directly. You will help develop the Chemical market for ABB Instrumentation, working with global teams on Value messaging and use the voice of customer to align our go to market. Build relationships with key external influencers/key customers. Drive and enhance cross-division and cross-region business-led collaboration for the specific market. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.

The Measurement & Analytics Division is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation. The Division serves key industries such as oil and gas, chemical, water and wastewater, power, hydrogen, batteries, as well as the marine industry. The Division enables the optimization of industrial processes by providing and analyzing data collected from sensing and smart measurement devices. Parameters such as emission levels and production inputs are measured by providing 'before' and 'after' values, enabling efficient operations and environmental sustainability through measurement.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant\'s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $157,920 annually and is bonus eligible.
