We are looking for an HVAC Service Technician to join our family! SIGNA HVAC SYSTEMS has been located in Whitestone, NY since 2011. We are an installation (including plan and spec projects), maintenance, and service company. We serve all 5 boroughs with a main client base in Manhattan. Our work includes conventional systems, VRFs, water and air-cooled systems, cooling towers, heating systems, and more.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical systems
• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Fill out job tickets via phone or tablet
• Treat customers and employees with respect, courtesy, and professionalism
• Maintain strong customer communication skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or residential HVAC equipment
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Flexible and positive attitude
• Independent worker, take charge individual who likes challenges
• High energy, reliable, with a strong desire to serve customers and assist co-workers
• Organized, efficient, loyal, honest, trustworthy, well-groomed, and committed to quality
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Good communication and written skills
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
