Role Overview

As an Azure Data Solutions Architect, Senior Manager, you will lead a team of cloud and data architects and engineers, leveraging your consulting, technical, and industry expertise to deliver innovative cloud data solutions on Azure. Your focus will include Cloud Data Architecture and DevOps, collaborating with internal teams and clients to design, implement, and optimize data-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Client Engagement: Lead cross-functional teams, develop proposals, build client relationships, and provide strategic guidance on cloud data technologies. Mentor team members and facilitate stakeholder collaboration.
2. Solution Architecture and Delivery: Design scalable, reliable, and secure data solutions using Azure services. Oversee data migration and modernization projects, ensuring quality and alignment with client needs.
3. Innovation and Thought Leadership: Stay current with industry trends, develop reusable cloud patterns, and share knowledge within the technology community.
4. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work effectively with internal teams and clients, promote knowledge sharing, and lead multiple data projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience as a data engineer, architect, or similar role, with strong expertise in cloud data technologies, especially Azure.
• Proven ability to implement and scale cloud data projects, including data warehousing, lakes, and hybrid deployments.
• Experience with migration, modernization, and various methodologies (waterfall, agile).
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in consulting environments.
• Deep knowledge of Azure data services, data integration tools, big data technologies, BI, data governance, AI, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, scripting, networking, and security.
• Fluency in French is required for Quebec-based roles; outside Quebec, it is an asset.
• A Secret Security Clearance is mandatory prior to employment, with eligibility to obtain it.
