A data-driven company is looking for a Data Platform Team Manager to lead their data management transformation. Responsibilities include implementing a standardized analytics culture, managing a team of Engineers, and overseeing a modern data stack including Snowflake and dbt. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in technical leadership, deep SQL expertise, and a collaborative mindset. This role is pivotal in navigating the company's transition to evidence-based decision making, joining a team with a commitment to excellence and innovation.
We're seeking an experienced technical leader ready to step into data management. This role requires technical depth in modern data stack architecture and strong collaboration skills to drive organizational change. We're open to first-time managers who demonstrate strong technical leadership and stakeholder partnership abilities.
You'll lead a team focused on business intelligence fundamentals - establishing consistent data collection, building reliable models, and creating accessible reporting. This is foundational work that requires patience, precision, and deep understanding of organizational data transformation.
You’ll be central to Pantheon's transformation into a data‑driven organization. The foundation you build will serve as our strategic navigation apparatus, helping us move from instinct‑based to confidence‑based decision making.
This role offers the opportunity to shape both data capabilities and organizational culture, building systems that help every team understand their impact and make evidence‑based decisions.
We need a strong technical leader who understands that sustainable data capabilities are built on solid fundamentals. You should be comfortable with "crawling and walking" before "running" and excited about the opportunity to grow into people management while leading technical execution.
