Job Title: Forklift Operator - Afternoons

We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for our afternoon shifts. The candidate will begin as a Shipper/Receiver and Order Picker at our new facility, operating sit-down counterbalance forklifts in narrow aisle rooms and loading/unloading trailers. This role involves heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. A keen attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential. The operator will spend 60% of their time on forklifts and 40% on manual tasks, including order verification, paperwork checking, palletizing, and using RF scanners.

Shift time: 2pm to 10:30pm

Pay rate $20/hour

• Operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts in narrow aisles.
• Load and unload trailers, ensuring safe operation with tall pallets.
• Manually unload, pick products, and check orders for accuracy.
• Handle paperwork and verify orders using RF scanners.
• Unload products from incoming trucks.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and damages.
• Label products correctly before storage.
• Load orders accurately and safely as per shipment confirmations.

• 1-year experience on a reach forklift.
• Experience in a food distribution company is advantageous.
• Experience with stand-up forklifts is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, Alberta.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Calgary,AB.
