Job summary
A leading retail company in Montreal is seeking an Associate, Audit And Control to provide comprehensive office support, manage customer communications, and oversee financial functions within the Cash Office. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, experience in a similar environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This position emphasizes strong organizational and communication skills.
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of previous work experience in a similar environment; retail preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to perform general office duties and handle confidential information.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls following company standards.
- Route calls accurately or deliver messages in a timely fashion.
- Provide financial support including banking reconciliation, invoice coding, and petty cash management.
- Perform department auditing of company policies and procedures.

The Associate, Audit And Control provides switchboard, general office, accounts payable and daily balancing functions within the Cash Office and executes internal services for the store including procedural inquiries and employee parcel and bag checks.
- Answer inbound customer calls following company standards
- Route calls accurately or deliver messages in a timely fashion
- Maintain the location phone directory
- Oversee repairs of technical systems such as POS
- Provide financial support including banking reconciliation, invoice coding and petty cash management
- Investigate chargebacks and manage Customer's Own Goods tracking
- Maintain general office practices to mitigate loss and keep workplace tidy
- Perform department auditing of company policies and procedures and follow up on audits
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations and cyber security measures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 3 years of previous work experience in a similar environment; retail preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform general office duties and handle confidential information
