A regional health center in North Bay seeks a Pharmacy Technician responsible for dispensing and compounding medications while ensuring compliance with hospital pharmacy standards. Candidates must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and have strong computer skills. Bilingualism in English and French is mandatory. The organization values safety and accessibility in its hiring practices.
Pay rate, benefits and other terms and conditions are as per the CUPE 139 Collective Agreement
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for dispensing and compounding of drugs, as delegated by a Pharmacist, and the distribution component of Pharmacy Services, in keeping with the standards of Hospital Pharmacy practice.
