Ceramist Dental Technician Job Description

We are looking to hire a competent and creative Ceramist Dental Technician to join our growing team. Your duties will include constructing dental prosthetics, zirconia and emax prosthetics. Our ideal candidate is someone with previous experience in creating high-quality dental prosthetics and devices.

To ensure success in this position, you should have extensive knowledge of all dental technologies and use your expertise while creating a safe and pleasing environment and high-quality products and services.

Ceramist Dental Technician Duties & Responsibilities
  • Polishing dental prostheses and dental devices
  • Zirconia stain and glaze
  • Layering on metal frame and zirconia frame
  • Gingival ceramics
  • Constructing prostheses and devices for clients by replacing wax with adequate dental materials
  • Making adjustments and color corrections for prosthetic teeth
  • Replacing natural teeth by fabricating prosthetic teeth
  • Restoring teeth by fabricating crowns and dental implants
  • Keeping up to date with new dental technologies and advancements in the field
Ceramist Dental Technician Requirements
  • Degree in Dental Technology preferred
  • Registered Dental Technician certification is preferred
  • Dental ceramics experience is essential
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in keeping detailed records and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
